Memory burn's when a song takes you back emotionally to a moment of the past. There’s just something about it that feels great. Memory burn injects a little life into you while bringing to mind good times.
Then there’s mass memory burn, which is usually co-signed by a movie. EVERYONE can relate to these... It's like a phenomenon and very impressive to pull off. With that said, here are a few songs that have struck us all throughout the years. Give each song about 5 seconds and watch how you can feel the vibes just from browsing the list.
• Eye Of The Tiger – Rocky
• What Is Love – Night At The Roxbury

• Time Of Your Life – (What movie was this from??)
• Secret Garden – Jerry Maguire
• Free Falling – Jerry Maguire
• Still D.R.E. – Training Day
• Best Around – Karate Kid

• Bittersweet Symphony – Cruel Intentions
• I’ve Gotta Feeling – Next hit movie??
Good songs and good times. Let's hope the next generation can pick up where these legendary mass memory burners have left off and continue to hold it down. That's Sprezzatura.

ummm... if we're gonna start matching songs with movies, ummm you left off the #1 "memory burner" of all time.
ReplyDeleteStayin' Alive by the Bee Gees; Saturday Night Fever, Travolta, circa 1977, doing the walk.
You put Secret Garden up there for Jerry Maguire, but left off Stayin' Alive... that's so not Sprezzatura
Fair enough... I wasn't thrilled about secret garden but figured you gotta show the ladies some love.
ReplyDeleteGood call with stayin alive. Not sure how I let that one slip.
You're the best... best motivational song ever!
ReplyDeleteP.S. no fatties
This one goes out for the ladies... the other "time of your life" from dirty dancing.
ReplyDeleteAlso, "We will rock you" - Queen. Almost every sporting event in highschool had the "stomp stomp clap".
